Qualifications

Expert-level technical writing for statutory/regulatory documents used in program management and oversight.

Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, legally defensible policy options.

Responsibilities

Implement Older Americans Act requirements related to legal services for individuals 60 and older.
Develop, review, and revise rules governing programs and services within the Division's scope.
Oversee rule content to align with statutory mandates and Division authority.
Prepare and present information before state regulatory boards (e.g., Medical Care Commission, Social Services Commission).
Analyze statutory language and regulatory requirements for program operations implications.
Draft and refine legally defensible policy options for providers.
