Job summary

Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation is seeking an AmeriCorps Seniors Program Supervisor to lead up to 10 Elder Volunteers and support the tribe’s Workforce Resource Center focused on wellness, culture and vocational activities for youths ages 16–24.

You will collaborate with Workforce Development Specialist, plan monthly workshops, and ensure compliance with tribal and federal guidelines while fostering Indigenous engagement and data-driven program growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ work-related experience in elder services or tribal government setting.
• 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain tribal vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AmeriCorps Senior Elder Volunteers and coordinate workforce, education, wellness and culture resources.
• Plan and facilitate monthly workforce topic workshops at the Workforce Resource Center.
• Develop schedules and resources to support tribal youth (16–24) and citizens in workforce initiatives.
• Attend trainings, report progress, and maintain data for program evaluation.
