Job summary

Sacbar seeks a Program Specialist/ Marketing Coordinator to drive Elder Fraud Prevention and Financial Stability initiatives. You will partner with a manager, volunteers, and community partners to plan events, craft outreach materials, and expand multi-market programs.

Qualifications

• Understanding of issues affecting older adults, including financial vulnerability.
• Experience leading multi-site or national programs with measurable outcomes.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
• Ability to recruit volunteers and coordinate events.
• Strong public speaking and external communications skills.
• Ability to build systems and manage projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for Elder Fraud Protection and Financial Stability programming.
• Create flyers and social media posts to market programs.
• Coordinate venue spaces, presenters, and partners for events.
• Ensure ADA compliance and language access; book interpreters as needed.
• Develop cross-sector partnerships with nonprofits, gov agencies, and finance groups.
• Support grant strategies, reporting, and funder engagement; ensure compliance.
