Job summary

IVY PARK AT SALINAS, part of Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Care Provider to assist residents with daily activities and health-related support. Shifts run 6am-2pm Tue-Sat or 2pm-10pm Sun-Thu, with a pay range of $17.50-$19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
• Vaccination/testing/PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s care plan.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected change of condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
