Job summary

IVY PARK AT SALINAS is a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, offering five-star services and a rewarding lifestyle for residents with individualized support. The Care Provider assists with daily living activities, ensuring resident dignity, safety, and independence while collaborating with the care team.

Shifts are Wednesday through Saturday, 2pm to 10pm. Pay ranges from $17.50 to $19.50 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
Vaccination and PPE requirements may be requested per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the care plan.
Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety.
Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
