Job summary

America West Transportation LLC is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead the wheelchair transport team, supervise on-site drivers, and partner with scheduling and dispatch to ensure safe, dignified services for PACE participants.

The role emphasizes oversight of daily routing, staff development, and adherence to PACE and regulatory standards, with an emphasis on collaboration across care planning teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care or related human services field.
• Minimum one year working with elderly participants.
• Knowledge of transportation scheduling and HIPAA/ADA basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Driver workforce with accountability and teamwork.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for staff.
• Coordinate daily routing, schedules, and route execution with dispatch.
• Attend IDT and care planning meetings, relay transportation needs and challenges.
• Create performance improvement plans and coaching logs.
• Conduct regular departmental and safety meetings and reviews.
• Ensure accurate participant records and secure data handling.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for leadership.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours escalation.
• Ensure compliance with PACE, CMS, HIPAA, and internal KPIs.
