Job summary

Senior LIFE is seeking a Nutritional Services Technician to support nutrition care for LIFE Center participants in Bethlehem, PA. The role assists the Registered Dietician, supports dietary planning, and ensures diets are served as ordered by physicians.

The position requires an associate degree in nutrition or related field, and at least one year of experience with the elderly. Valid driver's license is required. Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. No evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in food service, nutrition, or dietetics or related experience.
• One year of experience working with elderly or aging population.
• Knowledge of clinical dietetics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Dietician in providing nutrition care and education to LIFE Center participants.
• Follow RD guidance to plan regular and therapeutic diets as needed.
• Ensure therapeutic diets are prepared and served as ordered by the physician.
