Job summary

T Tulsa Honor Academy is seeking a dedicated teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to advance a standards-aligned curriculum and continuously improve instructional practices through feedback and coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• State certification preferred.
• Prior teaching experience in a school serving a similar population to THA’s is preferred.
• Charter school experience is preferred.

• Classroom Culture: Create a structured, productive learning environment with consistent routines and high expectations.
• Ambitious Content: Deliver standards-aligned instruction and rigorous materials to develop deep understanding.
• Ownership and Engagement: Engage scholars, routinely assess progress, and provide actionable feedback.
• Demonstration of Learning: Ensure scholars demonstrate learning through formal and informal assessments.
• Commitment to Excellence: Collaborate with the team, participate in observations, and improve teaching craft.
• Changing Outcomes: Design language acquisition plans and ensure language services and compliance where applicable.
