Job summary

Caulfield Grammar School in Malvern is seeking dedicated and experienced Early Learning Centre Teachers for a full-time permanent ongoing and a 12-month fixed-term position. You will work with the Head of the Early Learning Centres and collaborate with teachers to develop child-centred learning programs supporting each student's growth and wellbeing.

The role requires significant experience with young children, a relevant qualification, and current VIT registration; Mandarin desirable and ICT

Qualifications

• Significant experience teaching young children and strong interpersonal skills.
• IB PYP exposure would be advantageous.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
• Ability to integrate learning technologies into the curriculum.
• Mandarin language ability would be desirable.
• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent as approved by ACECQA.
• Current VIT registration.
• First Aid Level 2, Anaphylaxis, Asthma training or willingness to obtain these.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of teaching activities based on knowledge of student development to improve learning.
• Contribute ideas resulting in a stimulating educational program reflecting current research and best practice.
• Use effective teaching strategies to integrate ICT into learning and teaching programs.
• Work with the Early Learning Centre team in all aspects of management of student behaviour and centre organisation.
• Contribute to developmental records for each student, both written and verbal.
• Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.

TheRole

KeyDuties:

• Actively contribute ideasresulting in implementation of a stimulating educationalprogram for students that reflect current research and bestpractice models in early childhood

• Work with the Early LearningCentre team in all aspects of the management of studentbehaviour, and organisation of thecentre

Skills andExperience:
