Responsibilities include promoting literacy and early education, observing and noting child progress, and ensuring a secure learning environment while adhering to Creative Curriculum guidelines and YMCA policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA/Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CPR/AED/FA certification required.
• Background check and required trainings for child care workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to children in your classroom at all times.
• Promote literacy and early education through age-appropriate activities.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate experiences, including storytelling, games and songs.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment in accordance with YMCA policies.
