Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Elasticsearch Administrator in New York to manage, optimize, and secure Elasticsearch clusters. You will install, configure, and monitor clusters, ensuring high availability and performance using Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Strong scripting, cloud proficiency, and containerization knowledge are essential. Key responsibilities include cluster health maintenance, security policy implementation (TLS, authentication, auditing), and rapid issue resolution

Qualifications

Experience with Elasticsearch v7x and above.
Experience with Kibana Beats and Logstash ELK stack.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Shell.
Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of containerization Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Install, configure and manage Elasticsearch clusters and nodes.
Monitor Elasticsearch performance and availability with Kibana, Grafana or Prometheus.
Implement security policies including authentication, authorization, TLS and audit logging.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cluster health and indexing.
