Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Elasticsearch administrator in the United States to manage search platforms at scale. The role focuses on performance tuning, clustering, and high-availability architectures to support mission-critical applications.

You will monitor health and capacity, automate with REST APIs and Python, ensure security/compliance, and provide advanced production support and incident resolution across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Strong Elasticsearch administration experience.
• Experience with search performance tuning, indexing, and lifecycle management.
• Backup, recovery, replication, and high-availability architectures.
• Proficient with monitoring and observability tools (Kibana or similar).
• Cloud infrastructure and distributed systems experience.
• Knowledge of SSO, RBAC, and audit logging.
• Automation using REST APIs, JSON, Shell scripting, and Python.
• Administer, upgrade, and maintain Elasticsearch clusters.

Responsibilities

• Monitor platform health, performance, and capacity.
• Optimize search performance, indexing, and system reliability.
• Manage backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery processes.
• Implement security, access control, and compliance standards.
• Support data ingestion, indexing, and operational troubleshooting.
• Create monitoring dashboards, alerts, and operational documentation.
• Provide advanced production support and incident resolution.
