Absolute Business Solutions Corp seeks an seasoned Elasticsearch Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize ELK-driven data platforms for NSA/DoD-aligned missions. You will design scalable Elasticsearch clusters, tune performance, implement security, and collaborate across DevOps and software teams to integrate search capabilities.

The role emphasizes reliability, IA/CI, and proactive maintenance with occasional remote work depending on client needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree with extensive engineering experience or equivalent.
Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain CI Poly.
Experience in performance tuning, security practices, and life cycle testing.
Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, or Ansible.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and manage Elasticsearch clusters for large-scale data indexing and search.
Optimize performance with query tuning and cluster scaling.
Monitor health, performance, and security of Elasticsearch clusters.
Collaborate with DevOps and software teams to integrate Elasticsearch into applications.
Troubleshoot complex Elasticsearch issues to minimize downtime.
Apply security best practices including RBAC and SSL/TLS.
Stay current with ELK Stack developments and suggest upgrades.
Mentor junior team members and document configurations and procedures.
