Job summary

ShorePoint, LLC is seeking an Elasticsearch Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance) to design, deploy, and optimize Elastic Stack solutions for federal environments. You will lead across cloud, on‑prem and hybrid setups to enable security operations and data-driven outcomes.

The role draws on 6+ years in systems engineering with 2+ years of production Elastic Stack experience, and requires deep knowledge of distributed cluster architecture, multi-tenant CCS environments, and strong client engagement skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in systems engineering or infrastructure, including 2+ years of production Elastic Stack experience.
• Proven ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks with critical thinking.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and IaC tooling.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider.
• Experience with federal security controls (TLS, SSO/SAML, PIV/CAC, STIG).
• Applicants must hold and maintain an active TS/SCI Clearance (Full Scope polygraph preferred).

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and tune Elastic Stack solutions across cloud, on‑prem and hybrid environments.
• Execute legacy security platform migrations and analyst workflow modernization.
• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines using Elastic Agent, Fleet, Logstash and Beats.
• Harden deployments for federal compliance (TLS, PIV/CAC, SSO/SAML, STIG) and audit logging.
• Build dashboards and Kibana visualizations to drive outcomes.
• Develop automation with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform or equivalent).
• Communicate technical decisions to client stakeholders and contribute to internal IP templates.
