Job summary

B4Corp is seeking an Elastic Search Systems Engineer to support a large enterprise Elasticsearch deployment in a DevSecOps, Agile environment. The role requires designing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Elasticsearch clusters in AWS and on‑prem, with a TS/SCI clearance and a 9am–4pm core schedule in Bethesda, MD.

You will collaborate with architecture, engineering and operations to ensure scalable production, performance tuning, security, monitoring and incident response, while

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Elasticsearch administration in an enterprise environment.
• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience deploying Elasticsearch in AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Strong communication and Agile/DevSecOps experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Elasticsearch clusters across multi-AZ cloud environments.
• Ensure clusters run with optimal performance and reliability.
• Tune configurations, indexing, search, and security settings.
• Maintain infrastructure to preserve performance and data integrity.
• Upgrade clusters as applications permit.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, development and operations for scalable production.
• Ensure monitoring and alerting for Elasticsearch.
