Job summary

ShorePoint is seeking an Elasticsearch Engineer to design, deploy and optimize Elastic Stack solutions across cloud, on-prem and hybrid environments to support federal security operations. You will lead migrations, implement data pipelines with Elastic Agent, Logstash and Beats, and harden deployments to meet TLS, PIV/CAC, SSO/SAML and STIG requirements while delivering analytics dashboards.

Remote work with potential client-site engagements; US citizenship and security clearance eligibility

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Elastic Stack capabilities and use cases across deployment, security and operations.
• Experience with distributed cluster architecture at scale, multi-tenant and CCS environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Elastic certifications (ECE) or on a certification track are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and tune Elastic Stack solutions across cloud, on-prem and hybrid environments.
• Execute legacy security platform migrations and analyst workflow modernization.
• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines using Elastic Agent, Fleet, Logstash and Beats.
• Harden deployments for federal compliance (TLS, PIV/CAC, SSO/SAML, STIG, audit logging).
• Build dashboards and Kibana visualizations; contribute to automation with IaC.
• Develop automation using Ansible, Terraform or equivalent.
• Communicate technical decisions to client stakeholders; contribute to internal IP and templates.
