Job summary

SOC LLC is seeking an Elastic Architect/Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Elastic Stack-powered data pipelines, real-time search, analytics and dashboards. The role requires on-site presence up to three days per week at Quantico and full Telework options.

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years in data architecture or big data, active Top Secret clearance, and IASAE III certification. Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or information systems management is required; Elastic Engineer

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in data architecture, search engineering, or big data solutions.
Active Top-Secret Clearance REQUIRED, eligible to upgrade to TS/SCI.
Must meet IASAE III certification requirements at hire (e.g., CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP).
Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity/Information Systems Management or equivalent.
Highly desired: Elastic Certified Engineer (ECE).

Responsibilities

Design and architect scalable Elastic Stack solutions to meet requirements.
Build and manage data ingestion pipelines using Logstash, Beats, and tools (Kafka).
Develop complex search queries, analytics, and dashboards in Kibana.
Monitor performance, optimize index and query efficiency, plan capacity.
Administer Elastic cluster, RBAC, encryption, and disaster recovery.
