ECS Corporate Services is seeking a Sr. Elastic Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize Elastic Stack environments at scale from Ft. Belvoir, VA.

You will oversee ingestion pipelines, dashboards, and automation while collaborating with DevOps, cloud, and engineering teams. The role demands hands-on Elastic expertise and strong scripting capabilities. Qualifications

• Must have hands-on Elastic Stack expertise including Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats, and Fleet.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for data processing and monitoring.
• Experience with design, deployment, and optimization of production Elastic environments across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Elastic Stack environments (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats, Fleet).
• Build ingestion pipelines, index strategies, queries, dashboards, and automation workflows.
• Write automation scripts and integrations to streamline operations and monitoring.
• Deploy Elastic across on‑prem, AWS, Azure, GCP, GovCloud, and container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift).
• Use Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD to manage deployments and tasks.
• Integrate Elastic with SIEMs, Splunk, CrowdStrike, and other telemetry sources.
• Monitor health, troubleshoot performance, and optimize reliability and scalability.
• Lead design reviews and share Elastic best practices across teams.
• Maintain runbooks, deployment patterns, and architecture docs.
• Stay current with Elastic features and certifications.
