The role emphasizes daily observations, timely feedback, and planning sessions to improve student outcomes. NJ- certificiation in ELA preferred; urban school experience valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in classrooms and coaching teachers, preferably in urban schools.
• Demonstrated collaboration and trust-building with staff.
• Familiarity with Google Classroom and virtual meeting platforms.
• Valid NJ Teacher Certification in ELA.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expert content knowledge in ELA and Humanities.
• Analyze data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices.
• Provide coaching to teachers and support their growth.
• Plan and deliver high‑quality professional development.
• Conduct daily observations and provide feedback meetings.
