Job summary

Savvas Learning Company seeks an onsite Per Diem Educational Consultant for 6-12 ELA to drive district and school improvement through core content, professional development, and job-embedded services. You will model coaching, support implementation, and leverage Savvas products and data tools in classrooms.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in 6-12 ELA, with evidence of effective coaching and a strong understanding of standards-based reform. Local to the Midwest or Mid-Atlantic preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful teaching experience in a 6-12 setting (ELA).
• Experience offering workshops and coaching to teachers.
• Experience with classroom-based technology integration.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and collaborate with school leaders.
• Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Effectively implement program components and resources in the classroom.
• Provide job-embedded coaching and modeling to teachers.
• Observe practices and give feedback to guide implementation.
• Use data dashboards to inform instruction and decisions.
• Support administrators with program tools and strategies.
