Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking an ELA Content Coach to support teachers of grades 3–10 with standards-aligned curriculum, pacing guides, and instructional resources. You will monitor progress, analyze mastery data, and collaborate with staff to ensure effective instruction.

This online role requires travel several times yearly for state testing support and student events, with Florida eligibility. Strong collaboration and data-driven planning are essential to close gaps and improve achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in education with ELA expertise.
• Strong knowledge of ELA standards, curriculum, pacing, and assessment across grades 3–10.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers to identify content gaps and develop action plans.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using curriculum platforms, student data systems, spreadsheets, and virtual learning platforms.
• Committed to standards mastery and student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Support ELA teachers with standards-aligned curriculum and pacing guides.
• Monitor pacing to ensure standards are taught within timelines.
• Track which standards are introduced, taught, assessed, and mastered.
• Assist in unpacking ELA standards for teachers.
• Review curriculum maps and resources for alignment.
• Analyze student achievement data to identify gaps.
• Collaborate with teachers to adjust pacing based on performance.
• Maintain documentation on pacing, mastery, and needs.
• Stay current on state standards and assessment requirements.
