ACCEL Schools is seeking a dedicated online teacher for the Florida K-12 program. You will be the teacher of record across core subjects, delivering live lessons, monitoring progress, and maintaining regular communication with families.

The role requires meeting state standards, differentiating instruction, and supporting social-emotional growth, with some travel for state testing and events throughout the year.

Competenze

• Current State teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years’ experience teaching.
• Comfort in growth-focused coaching with frequent observations and feedback.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Serve as teacher of record in core content areas and grade levels.
• Meet goals for student achievement, culture, and accountability.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference, grounded in research-based practices.
• Complete course setup in the Learning Management System.
• Monitor progress in asynchronous courses and provide daily feedback/grades.
• Maintain contact with each student and track progress.
• Collaborate with Principal to prepare Progress Reports for Students.
• Review data to inform instructional adjustments.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse needs.
• Use best practices in synchronous and asynchronous delivery.
• Create a joyful, caring classroom environment.
• Integrate culturally responsive teaching daily.
• Implement school-wide culture expectations and norms.
• Communicate with families about academic and social-emotional growth.
• Incorporate 21st-century technology in daily practice and team settings.
• Plan and participate in non-instructional activities and events in person.
• Collaborate respectfully with colleagues; travel for required testing annually.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
