Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services is seeking a Referral Coordinator to help patients navigate specialty referrals within a military healthcare environment. You will review referral information, communicate with patients and providers, and maintain accurate records to move referrals forward.

Based near El Paso, TX, you will work in a centralized call center using EHRs and referral systems, with Monday–Friday hours and a pay rate of $17.10–$18.00 per hour plus H&W benefits under the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong customer service and effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to follow procedures and seek clarification when needed.

Responsibilities

• Review and process specialty care referrals with complete documentation.
• Coordinate with providers to obtain missing information and resolve requests.
• Enter, track, update, and close referrals using EHR and referral systems, including MHS GENESIS.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide status updates.
• Research records and claims to resolve discrepancies and support processing.
• Maintain documentation and protect patient information, supporting QA standards.
