Job summary

Ann Arbor Public Schools seeks an hourly EL-Co-Teacher (Grant Funded - Hourly) to support EL and General Education teachers through a push-in/co-teaching model. This grant-funded position does not provide benefits and may not be renewed after the 2026-2027 school year.

Candidates must hold valid Michigan elementary or secondary teaching certificate with NS endorsement, have EL experience, and be familiar with WIDA scores.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Michigan teaching certificate with NS endorsement.
• Experience with English Learners and diverse student populations.
• Experience implementing a push-in model.
• Familiarity with WIDA scores and can-do statements.

Responsibilities

• Teach district-approved curriculum.
• Provide Push-in EL support to students with WIDA levels 3.9 and below.
• Meet regularly with EL teacher and school leaders to discuss progress.
• Develop lessons and materials for individualized and small group instruction.
• Evaluate growth and maintain progress records.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
