Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA, seeks an EKG Technician to support diagnostic cardiology services. You will perform EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and assist with nuclear stress tests, under physician supervision.

The role includes equipment maintenance and documentation of test results to aid patient diagnosis. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, an EKG course, 1 year of EKG experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EKG Course highly preferred.
• 1 year of EKG experience highly preferred.
• BLS certification required (AHA or AMR).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic cardiology procedures including EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitoring and assisting with nuclear stress tests.
• Perform routine cleaning, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform and assist the physician with cardiac stress testing (treadmill and thallium).
• Apply Holter monitoring, perform scanning and prepare reports.
• Charge and document patient testing and prepare reports for the physician.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• To perform a variety of diagnostic cardiology procedures which will assist in the diagnosis of cardiac disease including: EKG’s, Stress Tests, Holter Monitoring, and assisting with Nuclear Stress Tests
