Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a Food and Nutrition Service Worker I to ensure clean, organized, and efficient food service operations in the Food & Nutrition Department. You will follow safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines while supporting patient and family needs and departmental goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining high standards of cleanliness, uniform appearance, and courteous service to patients, staff, and physicians.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire.
• High School Graduate/Equivalent preferred

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Food and Nutrition Food Service Worker I will be a competent Support services employee who is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the performance management plan.

Utilizes systems/processes to ensure patient safety, infection control practices, department security & HIPPA guidelines.

Maintain and adhere to Food & Nutrition’s uniform and personal appearance standards at all time

Utilizes proper processes to achieve patient, customer & physician satisfaction goals.

Foster a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organization.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate\Equivalent preferred


• 1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred


• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire
