AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, Florida is seeking a PRN EKG Technician to support weekend staffing. You will perform EKGs, check orders for accuracy, and communicate with caregivers while maintaining equipment. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with preferred A.S. degree and EKG certification.

Job Description

• Shift: PRN - Saturdays 11 to 1930 which occasional opportunities to pick up other shifts.

• Collaborates with team members to ensure smooth operations. Checks practitioner orders for accuracy and clarifies with offices, floors, or physicians as needed.

• Provides excellent customer service and ensures effective communication among all caregivers.

• Performs EKGs accurately and efficiently. Maintains all equipment in proper working order.

• Completes delegated daily, weekly, and monthly tasks promptly. Interacts with patients and staff in a professional and courteous manner.

• Ensures timely and accurate documentation of all tasks and procedures.
