The EKG technician is responsible for processing EKGs performed by the Cardiovascular Laboratory and other departments in the hospital. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.

Job Description

Additional Job Description

High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a recognized EKG training program or documented on-the-job EKG training and at least one year of directly related patient care experience in a health care setting. Experience in Holter Monitor scanning and Stress Treadmill procedures preferred. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
