Alfa Insurance - Gary Nelson Agency is seeking a motivated sales representative to prospect new customers, quote and bind policies, and service existing clients. You will assist the agent with sales and clerical tasks to write and service our current book of business.

Many Alfa agents are independent contractors; staff for these agents are employees of the agent, not Alfa Insurance. Join a team that values service excellence and community impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to attain Insurance Producer license within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and have an aptitude for learning new programs and procedures.
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude.

Responsabilités

• Prospecting new business in multi-line insurance, quoting and binding policies.
• Handling customer inquiries, documenting requests and completing changes, accepting and processing premiums.
• Providing strong communication across multiple platforms and adapting to a fast-paced environment.
• Supporting the agent and service center staff as needed.
• Deciding applicant insurability and placement using binding and processing applications.
