Alfa Insurance - The Regency Agency in Mobile is seeking a sales representative who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. You will support agents by handling sales and clerical tasks, servicing existing customers and pursuing new business.

A high school diploma is required and you must obtain an Insurance Producer license within 90 days. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a team-oriented mindset are important. The role offers training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to attain Insurance Producer license within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and have an aptitude for learning new programs and procedures.
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting new business in multi-line insurance, quoting and binding policies, handling customer inquiries, documenting requests and completing changes, accepting and processing premiums.
• Providing strong communication across platforms, resolving conflicts, and adapting to a fast-paced environment while supporting the agent and service center staff.
• Make decisions to determine applicant insurability and placement using skills in binding and processing applications.
• Ensure effective operation of the service center including reporting, documentation, and mail distribution.
