Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Structural Designer EIT to work on small projects and larger ones under a Senior Structural Engineer. You will perform calculations and drawings for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in civil/structural engineering, NCEES EIT, and experience with Revit, Enercalc, RISA, and SAP. This on-site Denver role offers growth opportunities and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• NCEES EIT is required; master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete calculations and drawings for small projects under Senior Engineer’s guidance.
• Coordinate with architectural interiors and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform Construction Administration duties including field observations, RFIs, submittal reviews, and change orders.
• Perform calculations using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
• Communicate design issues and solutions with the design team and owner clients.
• Understand industry standard design processes and construction means and methods.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget; maintain high client service.
• Assist with development of design standards.
