Job summary

Campos EPC is seeking an EIC Engineer II to support electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering for industrial, utility, energy, and infrastructure projects. You will assist with design, analysis, procurement, construction, and commissioning under supervision, delivering high-quality documents and supporting project safety, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of engineering principles related to electrical power systems, instrumentation, and controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn applicable codes and standards including IEEE, NFPA, ISA, NEMA, API, and ANSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in engineering tasks under the direction of senior engineers.
• Support preparation of EIC engineering deliverables for projects.
• Assist with engineering calculations, specifications, drawings, and documentation.
• Apply company standards, client requirements, and industry codes.
• Contribute to technical reviews and incorporate comments.
• Coordinate work with engineering team members and designers.
• Assist in development of electrical deliverables and design deliverables.
• Support instrumentation and controls design deliverables and P&IDs.
• Assist with instrument selection and specification activities.
• Support vendor package reviews and procurement activities.
• Participate in project meetings and technical reviews.
• Communicate project status and technical issues to leadership.
• Complete tasks within budget and schedule; help resolve technical issues.
