Job summary

360X Staffing is seeking an experienced EIC Engineer III to lead electrical, instrumentation, and control systems across complex projects. You will drive design from concept through procurement, PLC/HMI programming, and hands-on commissioning.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 7+ years of related experience and a PE license preferred or obtainable within 1 year. Strong ETAP, schematics, and field-readiness skills are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering; ABET-accredited preferred.
Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
Proficiency with power modeling software (ETAP or equivalent).
Experience with field testing, shop verification, and on-site commissioning.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical scope across complex projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Develop power system designs, SLDs, and ETAP models; oversee physical layouts.
Create instrument lists, I/O lists, loop sheets, and wiring diagrams.
Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs on automated platforms.
Prepare RFQ/contractor scopes and manage procurement packages.
Lead commissioning activities and SAT validation on-site and in shop.
