Job summary

E2i Inc is a specialized systems integrator providing automation, validation, informatics, and control panel design to pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and automotive industries. The role focuses on designing and supporting PLC, HMI, and SCADA software, electrical hardware, and process instrumentation for client projects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, address on-call requests, and maintain high client satisfaction while ensuring 80% billable work and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in process controls or automation engineering.
• 3-5 years of programming/developing/configuring PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software (Rockwell, FactoryTalk View SE/ME; iFix, DeltaV, PlantPAx, PCS7, Siemens, Wonderware is a plus).
• Ability to support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
• Ability to address on-call requests as needed.

Responsibilities

• Builds, implements, and supports PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipment.
• Designs and supports electrical hardware systems associated with manufacturing equipment.
• Develops understanding of manufacturing processes and instrumentation.
• Investigates and resolves complex technical problems.

Snapshot of Position

• Provide automation support and troubleshooting for formulation areas. Assist in the implementation of change controls for process improvements and bug fixes as needed

Location

• Primary Location: At downtown Indianapolis, IN pharmaceutical client with the possibility to support clients at other locations

What You Need for this Position:

• 3-5 years of experience in programming/developing/configuring PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software for control systems (experience with Rockwell, FactoryTalk View SE/ME; iFix, DeltaV, PlantPAx, PCS7, Siemens, or Wonderware is a plus)
