Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EI&C) Engineer in the United States to join the Water Technology team. You will design instrumentation and electrical systems for water facilities, lead control logic development, and support commissioning while coordinating with client teams and production facilities.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical design, automation deliverables, and the ability to travel up to 25% for FATs, commissioning, and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited University or College.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong focus on customer relationships and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and comment on engineering documents (P&IDs, GAs, design guidelines).
• Perform calculations and select instrumentation for water treatment facilities and related documentation.
• Design the complete detailed electrical design for water facilities (single line diagrams, load lists, I/O lists).
• Develop process control documents (Control Philosophy, Logic & Sequence Charts) for plant operation.
• Perform FATs, CVTs and commissioning support as required.
• Engage in automation deliverables including test plans, programs, and network design.
• Manage budget, scope, schedule and proactively report risks and opportunities.
