Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an EHSS Coordinator to drive our Safety Management System across engineering labs and corporate locations. You will partner with leaders to identify hazards, implement risk controls, and improve safety performance through audits, training, and data-driven actions.

The role reports to the Sr. Manager EHSS for Corporate Milwaukee Tool and involves cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Facilities, Talent, and other corporate teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of EHSS experience in labs, testing, manufacturing, or corporate facilities.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance programs.
• Experience conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate occupational health programs including medical surveillance and fit testing.
• Support safety reviews of tests, fixtures, and non-routine activities to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Manage forklift training, evaluations, and compliance records.
• Conduct hazard assessments and JHAs for equipment, testing activities, and process changes.
• Perform routine safety inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance checks.
• Investigate injuries, incidents, and near misses and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain EHSS records, training, reports, and metrics.
• Deliver safety training and support risk reduction initiatives.
