800flowerscareers is seeking an EHSS Manager to lead and develop all EHSS programs and personnel across facilities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while protecting employees, contractors, visitors, and assets.

The role drives a proactive safety culture, oversees environmental stewardship, security operations, emergency preparedness, and risk management, with direct leadership to EHSS staff and collaboration with operations, HR, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of EHSS experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, fulfillment, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience supervising personnel, programs, projects, or cross-functional teams.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and manage site EHSS strategies, goals, and objectives aligned with corporate initiatives.
• Lead regulatory inspections, audits, and agency interactions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate safety programs, policies, procedures, and training initiatives.
• Lead investigations of workplace injuries, illnesses, near misses, and occupational health concerns.
• Oversee security programs, access control, and visitor management; manage emergency planning and response.
• Coordinate environmental permits, waste management, and regulatory documentation.
