Job summary

Armstrong World Industries, Lancaster, PA, is seeking an EHS Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide EHS initiatives and drive safety culture transformation across multiple sites. You will partner with cross-functional leaders, influence strategy, and manage high-impact projects while traveling moderately to implement programs.

The role reports to the Regional EHS Manager and requires a Bachelor's in EH&S or related field with 3+ years of EHS management experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in EH&S, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline required.
  • 3+ years applicable experience in management of environmental, health and safety systems.
  • Strong change management skills and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tactical EHS leadership and project management to designated manufacturing plants and business operations.
  • Assist with, develop, and execute strategic and integration plans for EHS across the network.
  • Assist with industrial hygiene management and conduct surveys as needed.
  • Develop and implement EHS policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver EHS training as required.
  • Lead selected EHS audits and safety surveys.
  • Prepare improvement activities and events, ensuring proper resourcing and tracking results.
  • Serve as EHS subject matter expert for AWI Technology & Corporate.
