Job summary

Fairbanks Morse Defense is seeking an EHS Specialist to uphold our safety-first culture across service centers. You will blend OSHA expertise with proactive mentorship, ensuring safe environments where employees can grow and thrive.

You will drive safety initiatives, training programs, data-driven improvements, and annual drills, collaborating across all levels of the organization to maintain regulatory compliance and workforce well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience in training using multiple forms of visual presentations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-related training for new hires and technicians.
• Maintain and organize annual compliance training records.
• Coordinate yearly OSHA drills and safety stand-downs.
• Audit OSHA-compliant safety programs and verify qualifications.
• Travel to service centers for site visits and safety audits (approx. 50%).
• Support Safety Champion program with bi-weekly meetings and follow-ups.
