Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking an EHS Technician to drive the EHS&S process at Plant RP/RR. You will facilitate training for associates and work to maintain a safe and compliant environment.

Responsibilities include leading EHS meetings, audits, and compliance tasks while maintaining records and SharePoint files. Occasional travel may be required; a strong focus on teamwork and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• Strong listening, interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google apps.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Willing to work off-shift when necessary.
• Experience with EHS equipment and office tech.

Responsibilities

• Attend and conduct EHS meetings and trainings.
• Monitor for unsafe conditions and promote safe behaviors.
• Support EHS audits and compliance tasks.
• Maintain EHS records, SharePoint files, and data.
• Provide Plant Safety Orientation for new hires.
• Coordinate safety equipment, PPE, and safety supplies.
• Travel occasionally to other locations.
