Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety programs across our manufacturing facilities. You will partner with plant leadership to build a people-first safety culture, drive compliance with OSHA/EPA, lead investigations, and apply data-driven improvements to reduce risk and improve performance.

You will develop and deliver training, mentor associates, and serve as the site SME on safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health, or related field.
• Experience leading Environmental, Health & Safety programs.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Experience with incident investigations, audits, compliance programs, and corrective action planning.
• Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site Environmental, Health & Safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company standards.
• Foster a proactive safety culture through visible leadership, associate engagement, coaching, and accountability.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify risks, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning to prevent future occurrences.
• Manage environmental compliance activities, audits, inspections, permits, and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and deliver impactful training programs that build safety awareness and strengthen safe work practices.
• Leverage EHS metrics and analytics to identify trends, assess risk, and improve operational performance.
• Serve as the site's trusted advisor and subject matter expert on safety, environmental compliance, and risk management.
• Champion a culture where safety is embedded in every decision and every associate feels empowered to contribute.
