Job summary

Vertiv Anderson is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to plan, implement, and manage local EHS programs at the Pelzer facility in South Carolina.

You will lead safety initiatives, coordinate training with Learning and Development, maintain OSHA records and KPI data, and advise leadership on risk reduction and regulatory compliance.

Some travel and after-hours work may be required for audits, inspections, or training events to support a zero-injury culture.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse ops.
• Familiar with construction activities including rigging and loading.
• Strong organizational and research skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to influence management to enforce safe behaviors.
• Familiar with Smartsheet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Establish safety as a core value and promote a positive safety culture.
• Identify and prioritize EHS initiatives aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate EHS training with Learning and Development.
• Maintain site safety records (SDS, JSA, Ergonomic Assessments).
• Maintain incident and injury logs per OSHA and Vertiv requirements.
• Travel for training and cross-facility inspections.
• Conduct safety audits and hazard assessments.
• Track and report EHS KPIs and data analytics.
