Job summary

Vertiv in Anderson, SC is seeking an experienced EHS professional to plan, implement, and manage local Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, projects, and initiatives to maintain compliance and promote a culture of safety at the Vertiv Anderson facility.

This role provides direction to the plant management team for risk reduction, safety best practices, and continuous improvements to drive zero injuries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant EHS experience.
• 4–8 years EHS experience in manufacturing operations; warehousing/kitting preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal DOT regulations and NFPA 70E.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and manage local EHS programs and initiatives.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate EHS training with Learning and Development.
• Maintain EHS data and KPI reporting systems.
• Audit and investigate incidents to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Support risk reduction, equipment safety, and incident investigations.
• Manage workers’ compensation processes and emergency response support.
• Travel for training and cross‑facility inspections as needed.
