Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional for the Anderson facility to plan, implement, and manage local EHS programs and initiatives. You will lead the Pelzer Point team in risk reduction, safety best practices, and continuous improvements toward zero injuries.

You will ensure compliance with national and local regulations, coordinate with Learning and Development for EHS training, and maintain safety records, audits, and incident logs while driving a culture of

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse operations.
• Experience with rigging and loading in construction activities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote safety as a Vertiv core value and drive a positive safety culture.
• Identify and prioritize EHS initiatives aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate EHS training for employees with Learning and Development.
• Maintain site safety records (SDS, JSA, Ergonomic Assessments).
• Maintain incident/injury records and logs per OSHA and Vertiv requirements.
• Conduct safety/environmental evaluations and facility walkthroughs regularly.
• Monitor EHS metrics and KPIs; report data for governance.
• Ensure new equipment/workstations comply with safety and environmental regs.
