Job summary

Vertiv Anderson facility seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to plan, implement, and manage local EHS programs. You will guide the Pelzer Point team in risk reduction, safety practices, and continuous improvements toward zero injuries, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

The role involves developing training programs, maintaining safety records, performing site inspections, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and EHS

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse operations.
• Strong familiarity with construction activities including rigging and loading.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote safety as a Vertiv core value and drive a positive safety culture.
• Coordinate with Learning and Development to evaluate and assist in EHS training.
• Maintain site safety records (SDS, JSA, Ergonomic Assessments) and OSHA logs.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections and hazard assessments; track EHS metrics.
• Support the EHS leader with risk assessments, programs, and policies.
