Job summary

Divergent is seeking an EHS Technician to help ensure hazardous materials are handled safely and with environmental stewardship in our Torrance, CA facility. You will support safe, compliant handling of wastes and collaborate across teams to maintain high-precision manufacturing processes.

The role covers waste management, safety inspections, and industrial hygiene requirements, with emphasis on regulatory compliance (RCRA, 29 CFR 1910) and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience handling and shipping regulated wastes per safety standards.
• Knowledge of chemical segregation and regulatory waste requirements.
• Experience with safety inspections and industrial hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Handle regulated wastes from cradle-to-grave in compliance with requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Apply industrial hygiene practices such as exposure monitoring and PPE usage.
