Job summary

EnerSys's Precision Power Solutions division seeks an EHS Technician II to support the EHS Manager in maintaining a safe, healthy, and regulatory-compliant work environment. The role includes environmental monitoring, hazardous waste handling, and spill response in a high-tech manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will perform routine safety inspections, support contractor safety oversight, and assist with facility maintenance and environmental records.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Maintain compliance and organization of hazardous waste storage areas.
  • Collect and process hazardous waste per EPA/state requirements.
  • Collect stormwater samples and assist environmental monitoring.
  • Assist with spill response and maintain emergency supplies.
  • Perform routine EHS inspections of ladders, extinguishers, eyewash, and guards.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor facility operations to ensure safe, healthy, and compliant conditions.
  • Assist with contractor safety oversight and site safety requirements.
  • Operate and maintain DI/RO water systems and perform PM tasks.
  • Maintain accurate inspection, maintenance, and environmental records.
