Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Technician to ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT, and RCRA compliance across the data center facility. You will work with engineers to meet environmental and safety objectives and perform on-site safety oversight.

The role requires hands-on experience with hazardous waste handling, spill response, and development of health and safety policies. Overtime and weekend work may be required. ITAR and regulatory knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of experience implementing and overseeing aspects related to an environmental, health and safety program.
• Experience in managing hazardous waste storage and waste shipments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform boots on the ground safety oversight by identifying and correcting workplace hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Monitor employee exposure to job and chemical hazards as regulated by OSHA exposure limits.
• Assist in implementing and complying with site-specific safety policies and PPE assessments.
• Perform environmental tasks including RCRA hazardous waste handling and 90-day drum logs.
• Conduct weekly storm water inspections and SPCC plan implementation.
• Assist EHS engineers in accident investigations when necessary.
