Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an EHS professional to plan, implement, and manage local EHS programs at the Anderson facility in Pelzer, SC. You will provide direction to leadership for risk reduction and safety improvements to drive zero injuries and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes developing and implementing training, maintaining safety records, and coordinating with operations to ensure new equipment and processes meet safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse operations.
• Strong familiarity with construction activities including rigging and loading.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong customer service mindset.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence management to adopt safe behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Establish safety as a core value and promote a positive safety culture.
• Identify and prioritize EHS initiatives aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate EHS training delivery with Learning and Development teams.
• Maintain safety records (SDS, JSA, ergonomic assessments) and incident logs as required by OSHA.
