Job summary

CAP Services is hiring an EHS Teacher Assistant in Stevens Point, WI. The role supports the Classroom Manager in delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum at the Children’s Discovery Center.

Starting pay ranges from $17.10 to $18.81 per hour, with full-time hours (40 hours/week) year-round. Benefits include PTO, holidays, 401K with 6% match, life insurance access to health, dental, vision, and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate Degree in Child Care and Development from a technical college and one year of classroom experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5.
• CDA or Registry Level of 6 or greater and two years of experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5.
• Must provide a copy of unofficial transcripts or certificate from the WI Registry or class.

Responsibilities

• Assist Classroom Manager in preparing and conducting lesson plans which provide a developmentally age- and stage-appropriate curriculum, utilizing developmentally appropriate practices as outlined in the Program’s philosophy and Creative Curriculum.
